Same as 1 Mil Kapton tapes, the double sided polyimide tapes are constructed of 1 Mil of Polyimide Film. However, the double sided tapes have a 1.5 Mil coating of silicone based adhesive on each of the sides. These tapes can withstand a range of temperature from -73°C (100°F) to 260°C (500°F). Other than their excellent endurance to high heat, the double sided polyimide tapes are resistant to tear and puncture. This and along with their ability of high dielectric strength and insulation, the tapes are used in various industries and applications.
